With a rich curriculum that includes phonics instruction, math, science/nature studies, and explores famous pieces of artwork, students in this transitional kinder class for 5 and 6-year-olds, engage in learning with one another and grow as emergent readers and writers. Our class focuses on learning as an investigation. Central to all of this is that God created the world and gave us the ability to grow in our knowledge of it. We teach the children to ask, “How do I learn to ask good questions and find the answers to things I want to know about?” This class serves students who have opted to delay kindergarten or whose parents plan to supplement the material and homeschool the kindergarten year.
